i haven’t made a painting in a really, really long time. for some reason, when i woke up this morning, i had a craving to paint. it’s been even longer since i’ve drawn or painted a self-portrait. i am definitely rusty – and the result is definitely a wonky one – but it was fun working on it.

it’s been embarrassingly long since i’ve posted. and a real post at that. these long commutes have really been zapping me of any desire to draw at night. hopefully my energy levels will pick up again soon. in the meantime, if you’re in San Francisco this week, you should check out the art show, “Meanwhile…“. it features 7 of my little blog drawings from my series, “Good-bye Celestials.” AND all these peeps’ work:
